Products
We offer several soaps; all based on the same mild recipe. The
only difference is the scent. All of our soaps have oatmeal
added for its conditioning and exfoliating qualities. We try to
keep our web site updated with all available soaps, but we have
new fragrances in the summer, so give us a call if you are looking
for something different.
We scent our soaps strongly enough so that you can enjoy the fragrance. Also,
we use essential oils (plant extracts) for fragrance. Below
is a listing of the scents.
Ingredients
We use olive, coconut and palm oils in our soap. We
also add locally made beeswax for firmness and to make the bars
last longer without getting soft. Sodium hydroxide and water
are used to create a hydroxide salt solution. We use the
same rainwater that fills our 10,000-plus lakes. This solution
reacts with the oils to produce soap and is neutralized by aging
before the soap is sold. Most bars contain ground oatmeal for
texture.
Bar size
The bars are all hand-cut, so they vary slightly in size. Each
bar weighs about 4 ounces. They measure 3.25" by 2.5" by
1" thick, fit well into your hand, and are individually labeled.
